These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of founderslegacyfoundation.com and our Services. By using our site or donating, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

 

 

1) About us

 

Founders Legacy Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public charity. EIN: 39-4565999. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

 

 

2) Using our Services

 

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You must be 18+ (or use the Services with a parent/guardian).

 

 

3) Donations, receipts & recurring giving

 

• Donations: When you donate, you authorize our payment processor (e.g., Wix Payments/PayPal) to charge your payment method. We email a receipt.

• Tax acknowledgments: Unless stated otherwise, no goods or services are provided in exchange for donations (any token items are intended to be insubstantial; you may waive them).

• Recurring giving: If you enroll in weekly/monthly/annual/bi-weekly giving, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You can cancel future charges at any time (cancellation doesn’t refund settled transactions). Update/cancel via your account or by emailing info@founderslegacyfoundation.com.

 

 

4) Founders Club

 

Founders Club recognizes alumni support. Membership does not purchase Board seats, votes, or officer roles. Directors and officers are elected by the Board. Benefits (if any) are insubstantial and may be waived.

 

 

5) Refunds & adjustments

 

Charitable contributions are generally non-refundable. We will correct errors or duplicate payments; contact info@founderslegacyfoundation.com within 30 days. Event tickets or merchandise follow the refund policy specified for that event/product.

 

 

6) Accounts & security (if you create an account)

 

Keep your login confidential and notify us of any suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity on your account.

 

 

7) SMS Terms

 

Program name: Founders Legacy Foundation (FLF) SMS Updates

Topics: donations/receipts, invoice reminders, Founders Club updates, meeting/event notices, impact news.

Consent: By providing your number and opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated texts from FLF at the number provided. Consent isn’t required to donate.

Rates: Message & data rates may apply.

Opt-out/Help: Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.

Frequency: Varies (typically up to ~4 messages/month; higher around launches/events).

Supported keywords: YES/START/JOIN to confirm; STOP to opt out; HELP for info.

Carriers: Not liable for delayed/undelivered messages.

Privacy: See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data.

We maintain opt-in/opt-out logs for compliance.

 

 

8) Intellectual property

 

All content on the site (text, logos, graphics) is owned by FLF or used with permission and is protected by law. You may not use our marks or content without prior written consent.

 

 

9) Third-party services & links

 

We use third-party platforms (e.g., Wix, payment processors, analytics). Your use of those services is subject to their terms and privacy policies. Links to external sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

 

 

10) Prohibited uses

 

You may not: (a) breach applicable laws; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services; (c) interfere with operation or security; (d) use bots/scrapers to harvest data; (e) misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

 

 

11) Disclaimers; limitation of liability

 

The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FLF and its officers/directors/volunteers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits/revenue/data arising from or related to your use of the Services or donations.

 

 

12) Indemnification

 

You agree to indemnify and hold FLF harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

 

 

13) Governing law; venue

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Venue lies in state or federal courts located in Delaware.

 

 

14) Changes to these Terms

 

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Your continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the new Terms.
